• Single Reeds at Southeast. The Department of Music at Southeast Missouri State University offers clarinet and saxophone students both the variety of performing and learning experiences expected of a major university, with the individual attention and relaxed atmosphere expected of a small college. Opportunities for performance include wind ensemble, concert band, marching band, orchestra, jazz ensembles, basketball band, pit orchestra, clarinet choir, and saxophone quartets. Ensembles are open to all students regardless of major.
